Bradley (Brad) Hughes handles all types of criminal cases—misdemeanors, felonies, and probation violations for Martin & Wall, LLC. Brad currently represents clients with criminal charges in many southwest Missouri counties including, but not limited to, Christian, Stone, and Taney counties. Brad also handles divorce, custody, juvenile, guardianship, and adoption cases for Martin & Wall, LLC. He represents mothers and fathers in divorce and custody actions, parents and minors in juvenile cases, and acts as Guardian ad Litem for children involved in family, juvenile, and probate cases.
Brad grew up in Springfield, Missouri and graduated from Springfield Catholic High School in 2006. During his time at SCHS, Brad was involved in many activities including football, basketball, baseball, National Honor Society, and French Club. Following high school, Brad attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminology. While at Arkansas State, Brad was very active in his fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha. He held the office of treasurer for three years, served on the organization’s Executive Committee, and helped raise thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Brad received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2015, graduating Cum Laude. Brad earned his license that same year after passing the Missouri Bar Exam. While in law school, Brad was involved with the Litigation Legal Clinic, which helped indigent clients in various legal matters.
Brad moved back to Springfield after taking the bar exam and spending 10 years away from the area. He began working for the Missouri State Public Defender, representing indigent clients in criminal prosecutions in Douglas, Ozark, Howell, Christian, and Taney counties. Brad joined the law firm of Martin & Wall, LLC in July 2018 and continues to represent individuals that have been charged with crimes by the state of Missouri.
